Sure, for that iPod mini, no albums required...

What would you have done?
Would I have used my remaining sswu's on upcoming return YOW/YYZ flights had I known about the extention? You bet, but I am hopeful that the concierge used them to upgrade some appropriately needy folks on a longhaul.
Oh well, life in the big city.
Back of the bus for me, 'cause there will be no way that I will use my new sswu's next week.

I am not sure that these other airlines would have ready access to the AC (CIC) regulation on extending the validity of the card beyond tomorrow.

Other airlines will not have any access to AC's internal systems and policies, such as those contained in the AC CICs.

I wonder if the Star Alliance carriers would accept the expired Aeroplan card, if the passenger showed written documentation (with him/her) from Air Canada, that the validity of the card would be extended by about 2 weeks?
