no paid but does it make a difference to my question? Are the cheap upgrade seats by the lab's ?

In order to know whether something is "worth" the upgrade, it helps to know what price you are paying.

Given that you will be paying full fare - or possibly more, if change fees are also in play - then I would say that it's not worth it.

Of course it makes a difference since you asked "is it worth the upgrade".
What you've paid for your J ticket and what it would cost for the upgrade would seem relevant if you are really looking for an informed response, n'est ce pas?

To me BA is a flay bed, AF NEV is back pain for a few days.

Thanks I guess 777 took my question in a different vain I some airlines biz is as good as FC on other carriers so having never flown FC on AF was and have upgraded to FC.
