A bit jealous of anyone at YVR now. Will be quite the sight to see 3 NZ aircraft all at the same time.

Now at YVR, 2 of the 3.

Given the structure I pick sky light.

For solar panels normally just on a metal frame. No need for a solid structure and don't make a triangle as solar only worth pointing south as that is where the Sun is. Don't need to point in other direction.

The bank of black panels to the left of the pic are more likely to be solar looking at the layout

Solar panels on left - skylights on the building on right, I would guess.

Wouldn't it be great to be there, or better still on one of those aircraft.

hell yeah. Could quite easily do some BC Rockies snow action once this all settles down.

Oh, and onwards to Europe via YVR with anyone besides AC would be nice 👍

Coronavirus: Air New Zealand begins pilot redundancies

https://www.stuff.co.nz/business/ind...t-redundancies
Air New Zealand is laying off 387 pilots as part of a wider move to reduce its workforce by at least 3750, it is understood.
