When AS adjusted the award chart, a bunch of people here said that there would be CX premium award once AS has upped the price as CX would pay more.

I am flying bKK hkg now in J with partner miles... But it won't show with aS miles...

I would venture to say the Avios family can see awards. Of course almost one month further than AS or AA.
I even see US-HKG availability in May, multiple dates on BA. I haven;t check QR or QF as I dont have the need. But they are out there AS and AA just not have it.

Does anyone have an update on when mixed partner awards will be enabled? Was projected for late 2024 when the changes were first announced.

I have no idea, but I have little faith in AS' ability to implement relatively large changes to their program within a long-ago announced timeframe. Their track record is, ummm, yeah, not great.
If it's ready by 2026 I would be very [pleasantly] surprised

They had the distance based changes available about when they said they would be there (March 2024). Wasn't that a "relatively large change"?

Working in IT, my perspective has long been IT changes that either increase revenue or decrease costs get priority. So even if it's a "relatively large change", it received higher priority. I'm not sure if multi-partner awards meets this criteria. It'll eventually happen because they announced it. Just don't expect it on a timeline we would prefer.

This has long been the case. Different carriers will pass on different amounts of YQ. Some loyalty programs don't pass along any. Some pass along a part. CX charges less YQ than either AA or AS on BA awards. Even looking at the 4 avios flavors, they all pass along varying amounts of YQ depending on the metal you're booking.

I believe CX's ability to charge YQ is limited by Hong Kong law.
