Let's get up front, but how?
Hi, I have no miles on HP, but will be traveling w/BA Gold, and will not spend anymore money, so, how can i upgrade? Any ideas? BWI-PHX is the route.

I am not sure what you are asking us here 
HP does have a program where you can pay to upgrade to FC if available at the gate. I believe that BWI-PHX would be $150. The fact that you are traveling with a BA gold is not going to interest HP anymore than the fact that I am HP PLT interests BA

Hi again. Sorry, it was late at night when i posted this topic. I can be coherent, normally! What I am asking: Is there a way to upgrade on HP w/o paying the "gofirst" program? I have no HP miles, but I do have BA miles along w/BA Gold. Any ideas?
