calling EXP line from a phone on CENTREX sysrem prob.

I was using a phone (probably one of a few thousnd) on a CENTREX systm to access the auto-upg. option on the EXP line. The main number which AA sees has been registered; it kept asking me for my zip code which it didn't recognize. Eventually it let me out of the zip code "loop"; I was now able to give them my advantage number and proceed.
[Even though there are a thousand extension numbers, AA sees only ONE number for their caller ID system--hence the first one who registers is the only one AA will recognize.]

Does not only affect Centrex systems - it can also (and more typically) affect ISDN-PRI lines. Either are under the control of the customer, working with their provider. It is your company's choice to send only a main call-back under out. At least AA does apparently use the Caller-ID station number for the ID unlike many 800 receivers (and 911) that generally use the ANI number that typically will be the same for all calls from a given resource.
