I did not go into the shower area so I can't say. I did speak with the manager and asked about the noise. It was not very crowded Sat morning but all of the tile made even the few folks that were there rather noisy. I asked if they had installed the noise cancelling technology that they used in the IOC (definitely worth a tour if you are over by the museum) and she indicated that it was not in the budget. They are already considering removing some of the tile and putting in carpet like they have under the seating just after the elevators.

20 cubicles, more spacious than the old ones but the walls are not as high. Also a long shelf against the wall with 8 partitioned work spaces. 28 work spaces overall.
Only the front 12 cubicles have a trash can. I was okay with that. It's kinda like a first class section (with trash can) and steerage (without). I assume that all stations will eventually have a trash can.

I shoulda took photos.
Showers are similar to the ones in terminal C. There are TWO shower units per room. The first one (nearest the door) has a rain-shower head (not as awesome as the previous DFW-A ; more like the current ORD Flagship Lounge) and a handheld. You turn the water control knob one way for rain-shower-head and the other way for handheld. Then about five feet away, in the same long shower enclosure, is a second set of controls. It works the second shower unit which (IIRC) is only a handheld.
The former DFW-A showers had a towel warming rack in each room. The new ones do not. To me, it's an improvement, because the old rooms were often stifling hot. The new ones are, shall we say, "refreshingly brisk".

Did it have beans in it?
Sounds like that configuration would work well for a couple, and tie up one less shower. Not a bad option.

When did make the champagne change at FL? I was in LAX in early March and think it was still Bollinger but when I got back at LAX FL in early April - its already been downgraded.
Im at JFK FL now and the champagne has changed as well but JFK FL Bridge actually offers Tattinger now.
I feel food quality is similar to the first one visit at ORD last Sep but drink quality and seat availability have deteriorated. Its still better than BAs GL imo though.
