Unreserved coach ticket good for one year, but not really
I always knew Amtrak says ticket is good for one year, but today was the first time I tested it. Used a ticket bought 6+ months ago. Could not be found in the system upon scanning. Said I have to call. Called and told tickets are kicked out of system after certain time (didn't know how long), and dept that can sort it out is closed on weekends.
Has anyone else encountered this?
