How many have lost confidence in OZ?

I don't pay to travel on training flights, goodbye Asiana!

No lost confidence here. Though of course I'm monitoring the situation and have concern for the condition of those involved in the crash. I wouldn't hesitate to fly them again. I make my own decisions on who to fly with and I've booked all my flights over the next 11 months already, exclusively with OZ except for routes they don't fly. And I don't have the slightest plan to cancel any of them, certainly not due to this crash.

Now if the NTSB comes out with their report, either final or preliminary, and there's some glaring problem with OZ, then I might reconsider. Although I imagine that they will do the right thing and do their best to correct any deficiencies if that is the case.

As a side note, I would choose the 777 over any other aircraft if given the choice. If anything, I think this as well as the BA LHR crash have proved what an extremely well-built aircraft the 777 is. Especially after viewing the video of the crash and how bad it looked, yet the plane held together.

As there is currently a discussion thread with a lot of participation, and as any official (NTSB) results aren't in, and the confidence issue (as well as others) are being discussed in that thread, we will close this thread in deference to the existing one.

Thank you.
