Shower Rooms at Asiana ICN Lounges

Flying F next month and was just wondering Is there a difference between the shower room in the F lounge and between the business class lounge. I will be at ICN early in the morning before the F lounge opens and was wondering if it made more sense to wait for the F lounge to open to take a shower or just take one in the business class lounge.

Haven't been in the business lounge since it opened after the remodelling as I'm generally in the F lounge, but I think the showers are still the same.

The difference between the F lounge showers and J lounge showers are the amenities used. I don't pay much attention to it myself, but from memory, I think F showers use l'occitane, while J showers are unidentified tubs fixed to the shower wall. Of course, the J showers get used a whole lot more, so show signs of wear in them a bit more.

But all in all, if you're just after a shower, J is fine. If I were in your situation, I'd get the shower in the J lounge, then move to the F lounge once it opens and enjoy the peace and quiet and better food in there.

I have used both (F and J) and they are pretty much the same. They also don't get used very often (always empty) so they are kept in pretty good condition as compared to other airports. But if you have a lengthy connection, may I recommend you to exit the security area and head to the basement level of the airport where they have a pretty nice spa called 'Spa on Air'. The sauna and the tub-within-tub hot pool is quite relaxing.

Unfortunately, Spa on Air is closed right now. At least the Men's side is. They told me they are redoing the plumbing. It should open late jan. I agree it is a great place to relax after a long flight.

I'm going to beg to differ. The F showers are much nicer, due mainly to being MUCH larger and spacious. I definitely would wait for the F lounge to open. But if you don't mind a small cramped shower, then the J showers are fine. They are outfitted pretty much the same, and the differences in the amenities as noted already. I also haven't been into the J lounge since it's been remodeled so don't know if anything's changed with the showers.

Been to both. They are the same. The size difference is a 'luxurious' 1-2 square meters of additional space to dance around naked in! lol

In a more serious note, the J showers are already larger than what many other airports around the world offer. This is why ICN is my favorite airport.

I have used J lounge shower room at ICN last sunday afternoon and thought it was certainly not small compare to other J lounge shower rooms. It was clean and had all the necessity amenities. On the other hand food selections were kept to minimal which was a disappointment.

J shower is average size. Similar to showers in NH lounge NRT, perhaps a little smaller than SK lounge SIN and *A Arrivals lounge LHR. Definitely smaller than UC IAH Terminal E. Amenities are a little weak. Definitely not as nice as Shiseido products at NRT.

Overall, I really liked the OZ ICN lounge. Hot food offerings are weak, but the space is super nice and the lounge attendants are gorgeous.
