The confusion is in the name "Hindu" meal. For contextual purposes, the vast majority of Hindus are Vegetarian and assume it will be a veggie meal that is a curry.
I can see where the confusion comes into play.
The best Hindu meal I have ever seen was on Air France where the meal was the same as everyone's else but contained a note saying no pork products were used.....lovely!
