I've mentioned the idea of a CCR DO a couple of times, and there seems to be interest in the idea.
Doing a B2B would be the best way to all meet up, and a trip to AMS or elsewhere could be done in a morning.
Would CCR holders rather have a DO during the WEEK or WEEKEND? Please mark your preference below:

I am also GGL and CCR, rarely post or comment, but an avid lurker and beneficiary of this forum.
I will take this opportunity to thank everyone for their posts, comments and guides which have provided me with fantastic experiences over the last few years. Just re-qualified in October for GGL and CCR - happy days.
edit - being a rare poster I notice I need to update my details to include CCR !

I wonder if the apparent lack of CCR members is just down to people either not putting their flying in the same place, or not bothering to claim.
My boss, in his previous company (until ~10 years ago) used to do two business class returns MAN-LHR-XXX on BA every month for a decade or so (flying to the Middle East). (That's 3/4 of the way to GGLFL by the way).
He's just not aware of any of it.

My understand is that the 400-500 total ccr membership is actually a very reliable estimate.

Same here, always read rarely post. Made CCR last year had about 8300 TP at the end of the collection year and this year guessing will end a little higher than last year. I would love it if the CCR gives you CK with AA.

With that many CCR holders, surely we could arrange a DO in the CCR - if only to try and eat/drink the lounge out of supplies!

Due to the AA tier point reduction, a bit less traveling in August and September to coach my daughter's football/soccer team, and one or two fewer longhaul trips to Asia this earning year, I'm at risk of losing my CCR card (currently only on pace for about 4100 TP). That said I'll probably find a way to just make 5000 by adding some bookings in early 2018.

We kind of have one happening next week
6 of us travelling in first, so 7 guest spots, and another couple of CCR card holders joining, along with a group of friends travelling to various places at the same time. There will be around 15 of us working our way through gallons of LPGS and the cocktail menu. It could be an expensive night for BA ![Big Grin](https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Quick coffee break and chucked the following together... only including those who list "CCR" or have commented they are CCR.. plenty more out there I don't think 100 is far fetched. I think the total number of people getting 5000 TPs a year is several times 4-500 though..
