I understand those are what the industry bodies have suggested, and there is a HMG consultation ongoing at present.

Having done some research on the LGW slots their press statement said medium term and in a reply to a journalist, U2 said ‘BA are unlikely to want us to have them for 15 years’, on that basis I don’t think it is likely just this year’s season and may be for a few years with EasyJet hoping to extend for longer.

This does make me less hopeful for a quick development snd expansion of EuroFlyer.
