I hope they don't rotate out the Venison Bourguignon until I've had a chance to try it. Would it be bad manners to order two of them?

Tasty food yesterday, although the service was a little on the slow side. Maybe 45 minutes - 1 hour from sitting down to leaving. Wasn't overly busy either. Luckily I wasn't pushed for time.

Salmon starter

Pressed chicken main

Chocolate orange cake dessert

Sometimes the simple things are the best 😛

Great service this AM, but did spot bar staff pouring next doors champagne unless specified. Staff would conceal bottle which is an interesting turn 😂

That’s something I’ve never encountered in the CCR except during the COVID supply difficulties. There’s 3 bottles of fizz in the CCR - LPGS, Hattingley and the Lanson Rose. They will serve LPGS if champagne is ordered, unless the guest requests Hattingley or rose.

Was it a new server?

No issues this afternoon either

Figured we would grab a bite before trudging down to A10. Service was fine, but food was a bit slow (took about 30 minutes for the starters and 40 for the mains). Granted, it was pretty busy.

Venison was good and would order again. It feels like a winter dish so probably a month or so early so I think you need to be in the mood for it. Surprisingly wasnt very heavy.

Pesto pasta.

Not pictures was the Caesar salad (no surprises there) and the pea soup (was ok, though light on the mint).
