Has the turbine for the turbine martini been fixed yet? My partner is desperate to try it when we pass through on Friday (just because it's a gimmick, not because he thinks he'll get a good martini)

"still being fixed" is what I was told a couple of weeks ago, "but we can make you one manually". I'm not sure I have the palate to taste any difference to be honest!

I sat down for lunch last week, just after 11:30, and wasn't given the festive menu until I asked for it. I heard the staff talking about how many portions were remaining for the day, and it wasn't a huge number, so I suspect that's why it isn't/wasn't being given proactively.

Christmas turkey roulade with sage stuffing wrapped in bacon, pig(s) in blankets, roasted duck fat potatoes, brussel sprouts, chestnuts and carrot pure and gravy. Not sure if cranberry sauce is available on request.

I have been told that the festive menu is now restricted to only extreme high value GGLs, passengers in full fare F, and Scottish people.

OK, so in a few weeks I will be back to (lowly/great unwashed) Gold. Not flying F again for a few weeks. So to benefit by Christmas 2024 it seems I will have to aquire a Scottish passport!

Can't be sure about the CCR menus, but as I understand, the onboard festive F menu will run until Jan 4.

What time do they have afternoon tea in the lounge? My flights to the US are always leaving around 1 pm so I've had to leave just after noon and I've never seen the afternoon tea display.

You're killing me with all the Festive food, our next F trip isn't until January 6 by which time the holiday theme will be 'enhanced' out.

I half expect the new lounge menu will follow the push to go vegan and dry in January.

The only positives are the cheesy Christmas music will have stopped and that we have an ex-eu start, so will miss the check-in fun without the F-wing scanners.

Ok, so I had to try the Marmite Martini. Two sips and I was done . Maybe I should have tried the Marmalade or Strawberry Jam Martinis instead.
