BA269 LHR-LAX - 5 May 2023

Hello, a US-based chum was booked on this today but it was cancelled. Do any of you wise folks have access to the reason why please? Many thanks. (Sorry Mods for posting in wrong place originally).

Hello, hoping someone can check the delay reason for the BA207 and BA206 (LHR-MIA-LHR) on 5th May? My friends were on this flight and told the delay was due to LHR strikes but looking at flight radar no other flights from LHR had a delay close to the 3hour mark of this one. Just trying to work out if they can claim 261 compensation (they had connecting flight to GLA this morning which they missed) as understand that airport strikes wouldn’t be eligible but I am not convinced this was the real reason for the delay.

Can someone please check for a reason for cancellation of BA945 DUS-LHR tomorrow 8 May? We’ve been rebooked onto BA943 but I’m wondering if a claim is in order.

I came here to ask the same question - BA945 was 100% full too so we're definitely the lucky ones here. I'll see you on BA 943, probably in a middle seat down the back somewhere...

And BA943 is showing as an A319 to boot. Have popped you a DM.

Before anyone asks - this evenings ABZ-LHR flight BA1315 has been cancelled and the later BA1317 delayed until tomorrow due to mist/low cloud here at Aberdeen. I am already rebooked for tomorrow, and have splashed out on the Hampton Inn at BA’s expense currently thinking about my dinner options

Just opened the app to check in for a flight tomorrow and see a cancelled message... again.

Could a kind soul advise the reason please?

9th May 2023, BA 1486, LHR-GLA departing 14:35.

Many thanks,
~S

Can anyone please tell me the reason logged for the delayed arrival of BA0048 (SEA - LHR) which departed on 08/04 and arrived on 09/04? The delayed arrival meant we missed our connection to MAN as we only had 60 minutes to connect. In the end we arrived 5 hours later than planned.

I don't have access to any tools but would strongly suspect this is owing to capacity reduction requested by HAL due to the security staff strike starting tomorrow,

Too far in the past to see logged reasons but it appears it was all incurred enroute as your flight departed on time from SEA. Less than favourable winds adding onto the scheduled flight time no doubt along with a wait to get onto stand. Your landing time was on the scheduled time of arrival and you pulled onto stand 17 minutes later it seems.

BA 207 was delayed out of Heathrow due to a wheel change. The delay code is TD for tech defects. BA 206 was a reactionary delay due to this plus the offloading of a bag.

Could one of you wonderfully helpful people possibly check the reason for the cancellation of BA983 (1225 BER - LHR) today? It was cancelled at about 1600 yesterday. Thanks.
