[Invitation from BA for] BST Hyde Park
I am flattered (and very grateful) to have received an invite from BA to this event next week.
I haven’t been to a BA shindig before. If anyone has been before, I’m keen to understand what to expect before RSVPing!
many thanks

I guess lots of people declined and they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel: even I got invited!! No way in hell I’d schlep out to Heathrow on a school night, but I would definitely go to this one. But now have a last minute trip that will take me to Heathrow on a school night anyway 😫

I had an invite the other day, which I declined. Too short notice for me and as someone living in the West Midlands, it's a bit of a trek on a school night for just a couple of hours. I'd be more inclined to go if it was a weekend.

I couldn’t make it but it sounds like a very nice evening with lots of quite senior people around and chatting to customers.

On my way home from the event now. Really pleasant, chilled evening in the sunshine.
i chose not to talk too much about BAEC or issues - it wasn’t that kind of event - just good to meet some of the team I hadn’t met before and also it was great to meet some of the GGL team based in Manchester.
