Family member got the first 4,000 a day or so after joining. The same was true of the second 4,000 - for the stay - in a day or so. He also got a notice that the triple points promotion had been applied - just applied to the points for the bill. (Though the account activity page doesn't separate the bonus.) In my observation, this was lickety-split for Choice, given the "sweep" procedure that long-time members have experienced. It may have been that the activity was right before the sweep day, or it may be that Choice has mended its ways. More than you cared to know, secretninja? All this is to flesh out what may be going on if the wait is up to a week.

I believe that registration and the stay had to be completed by 12/31/15 - unless there was a subsequent offer. I regret that I didn't note this above.
