Are Citi Thank You points good for anything besides the occasional gift card sale?

It is early in the morning so maybe I am missing something but in perusing their site redemption values seem pretty crummy.

Thanks.

The redemption options depend on the ThankYou card(s) that you hold. If you hold more than one the points can be pooled to use all points for the same redemption.

Which can only be done if you hold Citi Premier or the discontinued Prestige card.
