Questions:
1. If I am landing around 8am Saturday, is there a measurable difference in getting to the Intrepid by transit from LGA vs EWR?

LGA is about 15 minutes faster depending on time of day if using public transportation.

Cool.

I also answered my third question this morning, as the Hyatt Place Long Island City is a Cat 4 and had availability (albeit in an Accessible King) for my brand explorer cert. If there is to be microbrewerying in Long Island City on Saturday afternoon, that should work out fine.

Ok, I'm in for Saturday and Sunday until about 3. I'm arriving in the most annoying way possible (JFK on AA at 0720) but it was only 6000 miles and since it connects to the daytime LHR flight it's less likely to cancel. Plus I can try out the relatively new LIRR to Grand Central. My Sunday flight is at 1855 on DL at LGA.

Just a quick update: the Deli DO after-after party (though now potentially just the after-party) will be at the Chase Sapphire Lounge by the The Club at LGA. Depending on when most people are leaving, it might make more sense to go straight there. I will provide an additional update this weekend. I am also working on restaurant locations and hope to have those selected by next week.

Just rebooked my flight home to be out of LGA so that I can attend the after party!

Same -- now arriving 1:20pm Thursday on the Acela (I got lucky, when I went to look at fares, Amtrak was running a flash sale yesterday) and departing out of LGA Sunday evening.

Best recommendations for getting through security if not flying that evening? A fully refundable ticket for later that night? Escorting a bona fide pax? Something else?

Any arrangements for people who do not otherwise have access to that lounge?

Thank you.

I think enough of us will have CSRs that we should be good on guests, but I'll figure that out as we get closer.

You can book a refundable ticket with cash or miles (I always suggest the latter). It does not need to be on a flight leaving from Terminal B but in that case should be with enough extra time to (in theory) go to that terminal). So something around a 6PM departure.

I've updated the itinerary to show an after-party at whatever place nearby we can find that's open. That will be an opportunity for those not flying out of LGA to grab a drink with some of the group, and those who are flying out of LGA to go back to their hotels and get any luggage they have (since space at the deli is tight and I've asked people not to bring luggage there). LGA departees (both actual and theoretical) will reconvene at the The Club between 2:30 and 3:00 PM.

I'll probably do what I did at the last Deli Do. I'll meet you guys at the after party on Sunday for a few.

Is there a way to get from B to D airside? I would prefer to fly DL to burn miles, but can get a BA award on AA if I don't mind paying the $70 fee for MCE exit row on their asinine A319s.

No. LGA is not connected airside.

For anyone who's thinking about booking a ticket out of LGA, any airline serving LGA except for Spirit and Delta will use Terminal B.

Ok, I will switch to AA at 1900. Once things break up at the Chase Lounge, I can switch to the Centurion Lounge.

N.B. you do not need to have a boarding pass for a flight departing Terminal B to access Terminal B. But if you're not departing from there, you'll need to give yourself time to make the landside bus transfer.
