I must have my share in the conversation if you are speaking of music. But your arts and allurements may, in a moment of infatuation, have made him forget what he owes to himself and to all his family. While I can have my mornings to myself it is enough--I think it is no sacrifice to join occasionally in evening engagements.

tulip season in Amsterdam

"In season" in Amsterdam means mid-April to mid-October. The tourist season peaks in July and August, when the weather's at its finest. Climate, however, is never really extreme at any time of year; and if you're among the growing numbers who favor shoulder- or off-season travel, you'll find the city every bit as attractive during these months. Not only are airlines, hotels, and restaurants cheaper and less crowded (with more relaxed and personalized service), but there are also some very appealing events. The bulb fields near Amsterdam, for example, burst with color from mid-April to mid-May.
