I didn't say it, but the friend I was eating with did. The hostess was rude, he complained to the manager, the manager stood up for his hostess, then my friend told him to shove it. The manager raised his voice and asked him to leave, then my friend totally lost it. I won't go into details, but he could have been arrested...

Before my friend lost his temper, he was not at all acting unreasonably, IMO. The manager went out of his way to defend the hostess.

Jayhawk: Do you beleive in a "customer is always right" approach under most circumstances, or would you instruct your managers to stand up for their employees if they want to?
