As I've said before, I've never done a MR. I've flown some crazy routings near the end of the year to pick up an extra segment or two, but never a true MR.

My favorite was flying LGA - DCA - SAV on US for Christmas and getting myself bumped in DCA, I picked up a voucher then asked to be rerouted to PIT - CLT - SAV.

The agent said "you realize that you're never going to get home" and I said, "that's the point."

Surprisingly, I did get home. About 8 hours after I intended to.

AMS is a great place. However, having been there dozens of times, some parts of it can wear thin rather quickly. I am absolutely in love with Den Haag. It is an understated city with excellent Indonesian food, shopping, and a gorgeous beachfront at Scheviningen.

HAHAH. Never would have thought that.

When I'm in London I'll do one pub, just because, and then I partake in Indian food.

What are the Dutch known for in the culinary realm besides Waffles?
