The new KE J seats are really nice, but the AVOD is the high point. I cannot decide whether KE is better than NW, but there is a certain je ne sais quois about the KE seat that gives it a slight edge - perhaps, a deeper recline in the cradle position or just being more comfortable in the lie-flat. Plus, they are shell backed, so they feel more spacious and private.

I figure it wasn't their cheapest fare, so while I can't reasonably expect Y, I would think M or something wouldn't be out of the realm of possibility.

I hear the AM J seat on the 772 is pretty good, as well, and that the service is stellar. Also, who wouldn't want MEX-TIJ-NRT on the FM?
