NW Companion Upgrade Certificate
I have already been upgraded on a NW DTW-SFO flight tomorrow (9/2) by calling OnePass.
Tonight at midnight, I can call for a
companion upgrade for my wife. It is a NW
companion certificate, provided by CO early
this year.
Does anyone know for sure if I am better off
calling CO or NW at midnight to book it.
ITN shows only one F seat left!!!

Norm, I suspect that you'll have better luck calling Continental OnePass. I went around in circles today for a while as a NW WorldPerks member trying to get an upgrade on a CO flight. I first called CO reservations who transferred me to CO OnePass who told me to call NW WorldPerks. NW WorldPerks told me that NW and CO are telling their members to call their home frequent flyer organization for upgrades. The problem is that CO has to call NW to find out if someone is an elite and vice versa.
Besides, it is really tough to get through to NW at midnight. I think you'll have better luck getting through to CO anyway.

If you are using your onepass status then you need to call the onepass folks.
They will call NW for you. The issue is NW has no way of verifying your onepass status.
