Current 2023 First Class meal service status -- FC meal service consists of plated meals (including hot options) between hubs and to/from most larger stations (exception stations listed below only receive cold meal box options) on flights over 900 miles which depart before 9PM (scheduled). Pre-selection is available on routes with plated meal offerings (except those operated by an A321neo), while it is not available on cold meal box routes. In addition, flights over 2300 miles will receive meal service in FC for departures after 9PM.

Snack boxes are generally offered on redeye flights under 2300 miles.

Meal service is not provided on flights under 900 miles.

All D1 flights, domestic and international, receive hot meal service.

Current exception stations where only cold meal boxes (with no pre-selection) are offered in FC on 900+ mile flights (both to and from station). Market/Bistro snack boxes are served on flights that are AM return flights to hubs from previous evening arrivals (as the cold meal boxes would require refrigeration overnight ):

It looks like you're on an A321neo and there's no pre-ordering on those planes

Is there any way to see the current menu for LAX-FLL & FLL-LAX with out having to come here to find the link above? I try to find DL F menus for domestic flights like the link somewhere above shows but all I get is a page on DL explaining the changes they have made, with pics of all their food. I'd like to seach my route but also other routes I may be considering flying and see the menu. I cant seem to find where. The one time I recall seeing a menu was just from a link posted up thread but not sure how to find it on my own on DL site. And the link upthread is for last month so that wont help me now. Thanks.

There is also this one that only lists entrees, but shows the limited menu items (might not work for FC):

Has anyone tried the shrimp and grits on the new fall menu out of ATL yet? Preselected that for an upcoming ATL-MSP next week.

SLC-EWR Smoked chicken stew. Not really a stew and small portion but decent.

ATL/EZE Crabcakes.

First of all, notwithstanding the extra course and the option to request express or coursed dinner online when advance ordering, after the beverage and nuts, everything but dessert came out on one tray. When I expressed my surprise, FA told me that it was because of " the hour of the flight.". Then why, once again, is express an option when it is the only offering?
Soup was bland, salmon was fine but the little toasts were soggy. Bread was pretty dense and soggy, too. I'd not order the crab cakes again. Ice cream was fine.

Correct, notwithstanding the fact that the Banner butter still appears on the menu. Perhaps they should do with butter as they do with the wine on D1 - to ask your crew which butter has been curated from the cellar.

With AA I am often having to begin an actual booking and get to the point where you can reserve your meal. In fact last week I woke up the next morning of doing this and realized I had like 14 reservations on hold from having searched up a ton of routes to find menus (previously this had never happened).

Earlier today I ended up having to do that for a Flagship First Transcon to get an idea of what would be the options on a previously booked flight for the beginning of Nov primarily because the time has been changed from a Lunch to a Breakfast window and historically there is no meal less appealing in First/Business than Breakfast (so much so I specifically try to book lunch/dinner long haul flights) and wanted to see how bad it was

DL never puts the vegetarian symbol next to their soups -- wonder if that's an oversight or if they are all made with Chicken Broth

Roasted Trout with butternut squash puree, mushrooms, leeks, butter sauce. It was a little too salty, but the fish wasn’t overcooked, and the portion of trout was generous.

I didn’t get a photo of the shrimp app, soup or dessert. It was served as described in the recent changes as a 3 course dinner.

A note on the wine, it was a dismal choice of a red blend, Cabernet, white blend (???), or Chardonnay. All were unknown, and Cab and Chardonnay that I tried were mediocre at best. Delta should really try to make an effort when flying to one of the best wine regions in the world.
