Certainly it is doubtful that he could find someone more qualified for that job.

The name is exactly the same, the case size is different.

To bring out the Jack Daniels flavor, chase with ginger ale.
Is the alcohol ratio high enough in this one?

Reminds me of one from my college days in Moscow, ID/Pullman, WA:

Hairy Buffalo

1 shot vodka
1 shot white rum
1 shot gin
Add some bitters

Drink 1, dare to stand up. Note no measly 1 oz. or 1/2 oz. quantities are involved. Each bar had its variation, but the key was just enough bitters to take the bite off the alcohol.

University of Idaho in Moscow (pronounced "oh", as in "oh, ****", not "cow" as in what goes moo). I lived there 8 years for high school & college, took a lot of ribbing from my high school classmates until I got the pronunciation down.

Most Hairy Buffaloes were served on the Washington side around the Washington State University ("Wazoo") campus.

That was our client (still is), the University of Idaho in Moscow... (they taught me how to say it right)... I had to use one of the university cars instead of a rental car and wouldn't you know I got stopped by the university police for speeding at lunch time and everyone I knew at the University drove by as I was stopped. But the policeman was nice, he didnt give me a ticket.

At least they didn't nail you on the old "entering an intersection on a yellow light" scam. It was the local substitute for a speed trap. The locals knew how to avoid it, but they raked in a lot of dough from students and innocent passers-through. Hint: Watch the walk/don't lights, not the stop lights -- the "don't walk" will start blinking several seconds before the yellow light.

Do they still call the landing strip the Moscow-Pullman International Airport. What a joke!

Does that effect whether or not it fits in the overhead compartment of an RJ? Did you used to gate check it, and now you can carry it on?

And, most important, does it now have TSA approved lox?

It's probably been 10 years since I've been there.... but I do remember that once we took off from Pulman, stopped in Lewiston (town?) and continued onto somewhere, I was flying UN in those days. The flight to Lewiston was about 4 minutes, the stop was about 10 minutes, and I had time to go through security and outside for a smoke (that was when I smoked those nasty things).

I had better watch what I post here.

I will most likely see him in a couple of weeks, and he may force me again to drink some vile concoction...

Lewiston's airport is about 35 miles south. Last time I was there (11 mos. ago) I could only find flights into Spokane or Lewiston.
