That you tried to have the hotel clerk convince me that by Georgia law I was required to sleep with you? But what really surprised me was when she told me that was, indeed, true, and that I should be a law abiding citizen!!

Well, it was true. According to Georgia state law if you drive a man to a hotel you are required to sleep with him. Otherwise you are guilty of false advertising.

Actually, it is a true story. Aucarol met me at ATL and drove me to a hotel a few miles away. She was with me when I checked in and I told the young woman working there that Carol was from Alabama and wasn't familiar with Georgia law.
I then asked her to explain to Carol that by driving me there she was legally obligated to join me in bed.
The receptionist obliged!
There was also a man working at the other end of the desk who overheard the conversation and was laughing like crazy.

You read that correctly not per Delta Air Lines SkyMile, as your Platinum bonus automatically goes to approximately 1.65’ per mile.
How does $139.60 for 5,950 Medallion Qualification Miles sound to you?!? Fly Delta Air Lines round-trip between Baltimore and Los Angeles via John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
Go to the Mileage Run forum for additional details. You have your choice of Delta Air Lines or Northwest Airlines.
I hope this helps.

Hey, some of us work for a living and can't read FT all day long.
Yep, I am.. I will probably have to do a mileage run or 3 this year.
It will be a long wait for the Dov.
