Last time I saw you, there was still hope for reviving the GPS. Have you given up?

No, I really don't. I am sure some stupid derogatory term that I don't really care about.

I've gotten a lot of good advice and ideas in OMNI. Just like everything else, you read what you want and ignore what you don't like.... LIKE THAT AWFUL EMAIL YOU JUST SENT, MIKEY! And you sent it twice.

I liked his e-mail so much that I sent it on to a lot of folks.

And he only sent it to me once.

Yeah, especially considering you joined FT 6+ months after Canarsie and me....and we're no slouches in the post count department.

Maybe you should start a "21,000 Post Club" thread in Community. I don't think anybody's covered that number yet.

There was something going on yesterday with AOL. I sent an email to one of my customers and he received it 16 (yes sixteen) times

Routine AOL malfunction. It's a completely unreliable and unprofessional system.

My newsletter has about 2400 subscribers (all confirmed opt in). I sent an issue Saturday, every copy to an AOL user (and I have about 150 AOL subscribers) bounced. I received at least three bounce messages from AOL for each one. Royal PITA.

I don't understand why anyone with any seriousness about their e-mail uses it. There are options; for example, gmail is a very well designed and engineered system, and permits popmail as well as webmail.

Since I can't get in Omni, I can't join the discussion on that.
However, something strange is happening here in Alabama. Something wet is falling from the sky. It is driving the dogs crazy.

Apparently Aucarol is doing hot air ballooning today and keeps spilling her beer.

No way that even I could spill that much beer----my Mom had a follow-up Dr.'s appointment, and when we were on the way back, the bottom dropped out!!! It was raining so hard that I was going 20 mph on interstate 65and most folks were pulled over to the shoulder. Wow, we really needed this!
