"Gone native" in a town that has a "Periwinkle Way Corridor Restoration Master Plan"?!?!

Can't you just imagine the City Council meeting where that proposal was up for approval? First the community standards crowd speaks up: "I object the the plan. It's really more of a violet." And then the environmentalists get a turn: "Are we restoring it to the 2004 pre-Charley developed state or it's true natural condition?"

As soon as the hormone treatments have had some effect, you can start romancing Dov. I'm sure the real women in the lounge* will appreciate having him distracted.

*And possibly Traveller, too, although nobody seems certain as to what her "retooling" entails.

I sincerely hope you merely got your antecedents confused. I live, after all, in North Israel -- not West Virginia.

I know. I don't know why I said that. I could never imagine you doing such a thing. Nor can I imagine your daughter having bad taste in men. Then again, she hasn't met me.

Cause you're a woman now??? (or a wannabe????) Gads, how do I work through this one, anyway?

I think your original comments were referring to the possibility that Dov might be so cruel as to tear up his credit card. We know that he is a generous as a papa and his daughter does well and his credit rating does well whenever she visits!!

Why don't you just tell people about the goats on the roof?????

Hey, they are planting trees!!!!! And Traveller may be stuck in traffic. You know, she may have to consume an extra extra-iced lemonade while she waits for the tree planters on the roadway. And maybe she will chat up some of the planters while she waits. Or they will chat her up.

(This is how many great romances begin. Or at least a few dirty weekends. Not that I would know, of course.)

And she offers them a lemonade. And they offer her a shortcut through the traffic. (Kind of like an airline upgrade.) Only different.

You know. Or if you don't, just ask Traveller for the pics.

Lots of women screaming....
You forgot "Guy in Hawaiian shirt watches dog pee on fire hydrant." That is, after all, one of the main plot elements.

I hear you!

But, I only wrote Scene One. And it was really only a quick sketch. I welcome re-writes and suggestions for scenes 2, 3, etc....

I will try to do so. Got a good start on parts of this tread a couple of days ago.

Unfortunately, parts of the posts from earlier on in the tread is mixed up and not in order numerically (at least not on my PC). So the tread is hard to follow at times. Maybe a job for the moderator(s) to fix?
