Glad to hear you're okay, Canarsie.
Sad to say, but if your wheel is bent like you say, I'd put money on the fact that your axle is toast.
And to echo the others, go get checked out. Signs of whiplash don't show up until after 48 hrs. (so I've been told)

Here's a sad story that probably happens all over the country---last week in my town, an off duty policeman was killed in a traffic accident. Turns out the 20-something year old driver had been convicted *three* times for DUI, sentenced each time, but never served any of his sentences for some reason. I want to know what's up with that! Especially since the Vick story with fighting dogs...we had someone local doing that, and everyone cried "mandatory jail time!" What about mandatory for the drunk drivers???

A group of otters is called a romp - that is so appropriate!
Here are the Vancouver Aquarium sea otters. They are famous now because of a Youtube video about them.
Otters are so coooooooooool.......

Caleo, are you planning on attending only if Anglo Large Clawed Otter shows up?

But are you a river-otter or a sea-otter??????

Nothing against the sea otters, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd lean towards the river variety. I think I'm an altogether different variety though...the urban otter.

Sounds very interesting, and I Love the FLL area. I do recall that the Significant Otter put in a request for a trip to Mexico at some point in October (as she has an onerous hospital rounds/rotations schedule and can travel only on certain dates). Will see if FLL/PBI might be in the cards.
