The wit of Clark Gable, looks of Woody Allen, and baseball skill of Henry Youngman?

As I said, no respect at all!

Cholula, I have made a change in my travel plans for the Meet. I pushed up my arrival by several days and will now be getting to PBI the Saturday before the Meet. This means that I will be there for five days before you arrive to take me to dinner.

I know that this will worry you. After all, you are well aware that I am on a strict diet (no green or red garbage, aka "veggies") and you will undoubtedly want to be certain that I don't merely stuff myself with fast food.

Rest easy! I just found out that Morton's Steak House sells gift cards, in various denominations ranging from $50 to $2,500.

You can buy these on line and send them to me, thus being certain that I will remain well-fed by going to its Boca restaurant regularly. Be sure to get a high denomination gift card as it will allow me to take one or two young ladies there during the Meet, thus dispelling any unfounded rumors about my being cheap.

Naturally, such an invitation will not be extended to any Delta Dame who has recently posted questioning my wit, looks, or baseball skills.

As a vegetarian, I feel quite safe saying that I didn't think there was anything to question about your wit or looks. No idea on baseball skills however.

I don't see any mention of a change to your post-meet plans. Morton's has an STL location.

So is everyone from the Lounge, other than Canarsie, attending the meet?

I know and I probably won't know if i can attend until the week of the meet. But I might be buying a ticket soon because i'm determined to think positively.

If buying tickets will help you think positively, I'll be glad to suggest a few destinations for my wife and myself. "Soon" is ok. Next week and next month will work out, too.

The true test of a Californian is whether or not she can change a light bulb unassisted.
