The most amazing thing just happened....
It's pouring rain and I turned on the basic local cable TV and saw a Vancouver Canucks hockey game.
Rain + hockey, OMG, I thought I was back in BC!!!
So, tomorrow, I'm gonna go out and ask people in the street if they thought Vancouver should have had a shut-out or not. I'm sure most of them will be conversant in hockey lingo....

A friend who is a journalist told me that the alleged "birth house" was not the actual birth house, but an identical house that had been substituted. Shame on the powers that be!

I have a pretty good Elvis story, myself... Pretty cool. My "Mom" partied with the King. I always liked to joke that if she was going to fool around at such a young age, she should have done it with HIM, eh???? And on another note....I received a PM from another DL FT'er who happened upon the lounge that's from Alabama also...hopefully she (I believe) will come back...we can share in the Alabama fun!
