BHB, welcome to the Lounge

I don't write em, I just pass them along.

I thought most of em were funny, so now they are part of the Lounge myths and mythers.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone.

I will tell you, though, lots of people think that case was a horrific example of jackpot justice, when the truth is just the opposite: that woman suffered serious injuries and was rightly compensated.

As you probably guessed, I'm an attorney, and I knew that the anti-attorney climate was bad when my own father gave me a book of lawyer jokes as a graduation present from law school. Oh well...

Okay all, since it is now 2008, I thought I'd take us back to the beginings of 2007 and pass the year in music.....oh wait, I can't even recall what the big songs of 2007 were!

So lets start with um...

Kanye West - Flashing Lights

<he talks about first class>

Don't worry---when I finally get to come see you, I will have you more Edy's than you know what to do with!!!

I'm flying to MSP to see couple of characters from the lounge, () and a few others.....guess you won't be at ATL tomorrow if you're cooking. I'll be back through again Sunday night though, if you're flying out anywhere.

You haven't been paying attention at all. We'll have to administer several lashes for that. I was sooo sick I didn't log on for three days and I still knew.

I'll never tell

An Alabama fan walks into a travel agency in response to an ad about free river cruises.

As the man described why he was there to the lady behind the desk, the woman hit a button, two men spring up behind the guy, beat him up, take his wallet , stuff him into a sack, and throw him out back into the river.

A few moments later an Auburn fan walks in and also begins to speak when the woman hits the same button. The two men spring out, beat him up, stuff him in a sack, steal his wallet, and throw him out back into the river.

A few miles down river the Alabama fan and the Auburn fan catch up to one another and the Auburn fan says, "I wonder if they serve dinner on this cruise?" The Alabama fan replies,"They didn't last year."

no worries about me --- my ONLY location specific jokes usually revolve around telling jokes about Cincinnati (and more specifically the folks who live in the Cincinnati area) --- and after living there for 4 years (and escaping 18 months ago) --- I think I earned the right to make those jokes...
