9:30 am here and the weather is a chilly 52 degrees. Even worse, the wind chill factor is probably knocking that down to 51.
I expect, however, that it will warm up during the day -- but under any circumstances I will have to wear a sweatshirt when I go outside.
My UIG came here Thursday night and is staying until tomorrow morning, so that helps me get rid of a bit of the chill.
Cornroaster, MikeMpls, wouldn't you be willing to trade in your snow for the occasional rocket or two we might get here?

MikeMpls, I assume you were one of the 75 and are going to share pictures with us here in The Lounge:
Although Saturday's highs were below zero in most of Minnesota, nearly 100 people ran in the Frozen 5K at Spicer, Minn., and about 75 people clad only in swimsuits dove into northern Minnesota's Lake Bemidji while the air temperature was 15 below zero.

Only the one that dumb enough to get caught.
I'm sorry I missed this event, but Bemidji is a 5-6 hour drive from the cities, and my car wouldn't start yesterday, as you may recall.

I walked yesterday when it was a nice 75 degrees. I'm going to pass today, currently it's 55 degrees with a breezy chilly north wind. The high is only forcast to be 58 today. My heat is on, the electric blanket will be on, I'll be in long jeans, sweatshirt, socks and slippers. Can you believe I grew up in east central PA and then lived in Wisconsin for a few years? How did I survive?
