No, I posted twice in a row instead of editing the first post.... you know how the Lounge MilePost Police are...
I just don't think I can do that.

I went into the gas station today and asked for five dollars worth of gas.
The clerk farted and gave me a receipt.

When I watched the last National Football League game of the regular season between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots, I joked that that game was a preview of the Super Bowl for this year...
...but I was actually right!!!
Go Giants!!!

DLfan reports to our Vice-President/Security Director/Lounge Judge Advocate General, scoow.
I'll ask her to confer with him and to implement this Lounge ban until February 4th, 2008.

DLfan is the General-At-Arms/Lounge Bouncer and, as such, is duty bound to prevent anyone we deem lame-o from setting foot in The Lounge.

On other legal fronts, how is the trial prep going?

The court calendar for next week shows a bail bond hearing for mikey1003 on Wednesday..
He's currently being held on his own recognizance but has refused to turn over his passport.
So he is considered a flight risk especially since there are many open FC award seats available to Mexico.

Someone once said, you are either with us or against us. I think it was Cholula.
Well, if it is anything like the last bond revocation hearing I watched it might not be pretty.
If OJ doesn't get his act together we will get an all new meaning to what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. It will be more like when you screw off in Vegas, thou gets to stay in Vegas for a long time.
Personally, I think the JAG ought to hold him in lieu of 1,000 posts...to be returned if eventually found not guilty.

Hmmm, it's quite balmy up there these days. Maybe there is something to that global warming stuff, after all....
I spent some winters in and around Yellowknife and Calgary. I'd love to visit either for a few days during the winter, but would hate to spend an entire winter in either place again.
I did once attend a Midnight Sun golf tournament in Whitehorse. That was in the summer, of course.

I do apologize. Truly! There are few things I would wish on my friends less than a scourge of Canada Geese.
On the other hand, are they actually protected there....??? I mean, can you legally shoot them? They are a protected species in Canada, no matter how high the fecal coliform counts get at the local lakes, it seems....
Why can't we get people interested in cooking Canada Geese for Thanksgiving? Christmas? Or even MARTIN LUTHER KING JR DAY????? Whaddya say, my fine southern neighbours? What if we Canucks put a bounty on them and pay you Americans for each one you bag (or cook)? No need to send carcasses back to us, photos notarized by your local golf greenskeepers will be fine!
On the other hand, I don't think they even bother to migrate out of southern BC anymore, so not sure that would help my usual neck-of-the-woods.
Still, it would be doing the rest of Canada a HUGE FAVOUR!!!

The Geese are pecking away in the parking lot. I hear they'd the best axle grease and their feathers are great to clear the mud and snow from the tires and rims.
