Glad to hear that Canarsie is ok and will be back with us as soon as he can clear his schedule and get his computer to boot up. (I'm glad... he may not be. )

Now we just need an update on OTNB.

Good news as far as Canarsie is concerned. Thanks, Cholula. Hopefully the news on OTNB will be good also.

The past 11 days have been tightly scheduled for me, with a confluence of deadlines and other assorted sordid (like the alliteration?) factors.

I am slowly regaining my presence on FlyerTalk. I still have a very busy schedule, but I successfully accomplished a minimum of three major deadlines today. I am seeing the light at the end of this tunnel.

I am sorry to learn about Mrs. Cholula.

May she experience a speedy recovery.

I'll admit, this is my first post here, and I came mostly to see if OMNI was relocating here.

overall I give DL a ^, and will continue to fly them in the near future.

How do you get a Highlander onto the roof?

Tell him the drinks are on the house.

Punch him in the nose.

Back during the days of expansion to the west, people traveled by stagecoach. This was not a particularly comfortable way to go, with the bumpy paths and crowded seats. However, there wasn’t much choice.

Being in business to make money, the operators of these stagecoaches tried to think of various ways to increase revenue on each trip. People were willing to pay not only to ride out west, but they were willing to pay to ship things to friends and relatives who had already relocated. Of course, passengers were the most lucrative. So it follows that the more people you could transport on each trip, the more money the company made.

With that in mind, these companies began restricting passengers to being under a certain weight, in order to fit three people in a seat instead of only two. Not only was this extremely uncomfortable for the travelers, but it became obvious to those wishing to relocate that there would be....

....no west for the reary.

After an exhaustive review of the research literature, here's the final word on nutrition and health:

1. Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

2. Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

3. Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

5. Germans drink beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you.

The Government Is Trying To Correct This Problem

But people of these countries are thinner than Americans in general. Carrying excess weight is what is so bad for you.
