My thoughts exactly. But would the girls still look so happy?

I thought you were the driver. An Aston Martin into the lake. And an Alfa Romeo into the wall.

Next weekend's gonna be fun! ^ But I think I'll change the car reservation to one of these, just in case we head downtown/toward the lake.

That's really unfair. You're clearly still upset I didn't pick you up, leaving you on a street corner on my way to CVG last year.

Not to worry. There's no lakes in the Chicago area that I know of.

That settles it. You can drive, but I'm navigating!

You're absolutely correct. It's been quite hard to overcome. But now, after reading about your driving skills, I forgive you.

Speaking of which, where/when is Lounge Do II? Or will you set-up a chocolate fountain at Gargoyle's workshop next weekend & call it DLLD II?

It's not the driving that caused the metal fan on my S-10 to shear off at 70 mph, chopping the radiator, hoses, belts and various engine parts to bits!

Well, maybe if I had stopped sooner to investigate what the noise was...

I dunno. I'd love to do another one. There's so much DO activity already, though. So when?

We'll talk next weekend.

Once again, I am shocked and outraged by the posts here in the Lounge.

I don't think it is fitting to be discussing in public when aucarol is or is not picked up on street corners.

But he never picked me up.

It's quite stressful when a gal stands on a street corner and can't get someone to pick her up. I've had to work on my self esteem for months now.

So you're now admitting to not only poor navigation and driving skills, but lousy upkeep and maintenance on your vehicles?

So much doesn't equal too much.

I just heard that the Upper MidWest is expecting 6-8 inches of snow.

This is part of the same global cooling problem we have here in Israel. Unlike the 106 F we had earlier this week, today it only got up to 88 F.
