I wasn't aware that being able to think at all was required for any job here.

Which might explain why 31803 (posts) plus 200 = 39,000?

I would explain that it was a simple typo on my part but nothing I ever do is simple.

Maybe not! I need to see 350,000 posts in the next month. If we start talking about a Lounge Do and Dovster continues to insinuate unintentional meanings in every post (thus getting two posts for every one), we may get there pretty easily.

Cornroaster - want to start another counting thread (or ten)? Perhaps something that could be easily completed in oh... just less than a month? Fortunately, OMNI posts do still count for something!

Where can you see what post number we are at? Is it possible to see the sequential number of any post you want?

Yeah, click on your Milepost Number in the upper right hand corner of your post (31814).

And then look at the URL at the top of the page. It'll show you that your post was number 9,649,688, i.e., p=9649688

Mine, for example, was 9,649,727. So in the seven minutes between our two posts, FT registered an additional 39 posts.

Either of the two above hints works. Or to mix the two, hover over the milepost # (31818) and you will see at the bottom of the screen the post # (9649757).
