I fly home tomorrow from Milan.
While I was gone, I had my house completely repainted and given a complete cleaning. (This included the windows -- I haven't cleaned them in 15 years, although two of them were in better shape, having been shattered by missiles in 2006 and replaced.)
While I was going to La Scala, Swiss restaurants, and sightseeing in Parma with the UIG, my ex, Dementia, was in charge of overseeing the painters and the cleaning lady.
This is exactly the way that the Good Lord intended life to be led.

Happy Anniversary (a few days early), skchin!
Until you included the "excessive", I could have gone along with this proposition.
Except you haven't seen what she did to your house yet. You'll probably get home to a lovely pink bedroom with lace curtains... and a bill for the "extras" she included - the curtains and a new frilly bedskirt.

I kinda "forgot" about that.......
Hey, that's a new one:
"Inciting A Post-Padding Run".
There's one of the more wise and insightful posts we've seen around The Lounge™ for awhile........

We were talking about Traveller's quitting smoking anniversary, then all of a sudden [I missed the fact that] we moved on to skchin's wedding anniversary.
I was when he was mentioning buying jewelry [for who I thought was Traveller].
BTW - congrats, skchin! I remember last year you spent your 1 year anniversary posting on Flyertalk. I hope you did something a little more exciting for that gal this year!

skchin, jewelry is always a good idea. But, you know your wife better than we do... what would she like? Some people wear necklaces, but hate bracelets, etc. Traditional 2nd anniversary gifts are "cotton". Interpret that as you wish. Nice cotton sheets? A cotton tablecloth/blanket to spread on the ground & take her on a picnic? A cotton t-shirt... for her favorite musician/group & tickets to a concert? Of course, if you want a boll of cotton, that can be arranged as well. Lots of options if you decide not to go with jewelry.
Two insightful posts in a row. You're on a roll, tkey75!
Well, it wasn't your updated milepost post.
ok... I'll go away before I really get myself in trouble around here.
