I got around 20,000 on my first try. Of course, I couldn't figure out why it wouldn't let me click in North Dakota for Faro. Oh wait a minute, the strange movie with the pregnant police chief was called Fargo, wasn't it. Ironically mostly set in Minneapolis.

He didn't work when he did. He will do about anything to pass the time. Watch dogs piss on fire hydrants, what the city paint the curbs, .... off on FlyerTalk all day, every day.

I am so disappointed that one word will get censored because it really takes away from some of the humor.

I trained a client in Brainerd several years ago.

They cannot stand the movie Fargo and how it portrays their area.

Besides, the Brainerd scenery in Fargo is nothing like the real Brainerd...

I liked the movie but it just kind of weird. Of course it had the big accent on it and that got played up and that pissed a few natives off...but I am sure that isn't the only reason.

The Wisconsin customers that I know well enough to give a hard time too have fun with the little accent thing. They think I have a southern one to which I reply that they obviously haven't been in the south. I tell them what the hell does the "or no" part of "Do you want fries with that, or no?" have to do with anything. They told me it was "a horse a piece".

Definitely wierd, but that was the attraction...wasn't it? I flew from Baltimore to Atlanta next to William H. Macy once and we talked about Fargo. He claimed it was his favorite of all the movies he had appeared in. That may have changed by now, but it is still my favorite performance of his.

He was a nice guy, but not very tech savvy. Our flight was held on the tarmac long enough for everyone to be worried about their connections. I checked on available ATL-LAX flights for him using the Delta schedule application on my Palm. His response was, "wow, you can do that?". That reaction just screamed personal assistant.

I think I knew you had flown with him but I don't ever knew that much detail. The weirdness was kind of the deal...and I am not exactly a blood and guts kind of guy but the woodchipper thing was kind of cool

I remember that little application. I am not sure what I used it on. It seems so 2004 or so. Sadly I have to ask, do they have something like that for my BB?

One try = 20,546. Not bad considering I've never been to Europe. Seriously. Don't kick me out.

http://www.delta.com/schedules/trave...ched/index.jsp

It appears to be only "Palm" (which I guess would include a Treo running Palm OS) and "Pocket PC" (no clue).

Of those options, downloading the PDF and e-mailing it to oneself would be the Blackberry solution (at least for the 8700g I'm still toting).

I think indufan was inquiring about the availability of a flight schedule application for the BB like the one DL offers for PCs.

But old app was kind of good because it was local and fast and all that good stuff. Yes, I occasionally go to mobile.delta.com with my BB too.

Actually, it would be kind of cool to have an app that had some off line features and some online ones at the same time.

They're far too consumed with the award calendar. Please don't distract them.

I assumed as much...just couldn't understand why one would need it with delta.com at your fingertips. I guess it could be useful at 30K feet!

Your MUST be kidding. I don't see anyone spending any time at all fixing the award calendar!

Now, I do miss the old *VIP in flight phone service. I used that more than a few times.
