We do not have the noisy inlet water traffic except once in a long while a lout gets loose on the Intercoastal. Anything that might be happening on the ocean is muffled by the mangroves.

However, I have been saying all along on these boards that the seashore down here has its own microclimate which is much more comfortable than that found even just a few miles inland and which is what many perceive to be our climate.

Do we have to report this excursion away from TS/S to Cholula?

If she's not careful, she'll find herself on TDY in OMNI.

Actually, Canarsie likes to see the count. He's a Sr Mod, so I think I'm safe if I don't stay for long.

Well, I AM fond of Jack Daniels, but since I'm a "Maker's Mark Ambassador", I have a duty to spread the word. Will I be drummed out of the corps? I promise to drink only Jack Daniels in the lounge....or am I wrong again? Jean, hanging her head

[QUOTE=Welcome aboard to you as well. I don't think DL caters Maker's but we could still pick some up at a NW hub.[/QUOTE]

Yes, the coast does have it's own climate. We would watch the storms either march upto I-95 and stop or start to grow above us and darkenas they moved west.

Maybe that's what caused me to make the mistake of mentioning bourbon in these sacred halls? I was out in the sun too long? Mea Culpa

Us bourbon drinkers usually partake in Woodford Reserve. I'll drink Makers if Woodford isn't avaliable.

When I was a Latin TA in the last century (about a millenium after Cholula held a similar position), I would give students half credit for meaning & half for usage.

So Dov gets about a 50% score on that exercise.
