My MR this weekend does (currently) have one CRJ - however, I got VDB'ed from my single CRJ last week onto a much better plane, and this flight looks much more heavily booked.

Until the merger with NW, DL only flew out of PVD on RJs, as mainline service was discontinued in 2006 (I flew on the last 732 out of PVD).
And, there was the nightmare of a flight from ATL to TUL on a CRJ-200 last year.

You guys make me think of that old Irish drinking song, "You Can't Drink All Day If You Don't Start First Thing in the Morning."

That would suck mightily - almost as much as your boss scheduling a NC to CA corporate trip (yes, against the jet-stream) on a CR2.

Just the sight of a CRJ-200 should cause instant fear and trepidation. Until you're safely aloft in something with at least 5 seats across (and preferably continuing with a free drink in your hand), there's always the chance that that CRJ-200 (or 700 or 100, they're all the same except that the 100 is harder on your nect) could be your equipment substitution.
...esto es terrible...

Comair flies a CRJ-900 which I have taken about a half dozen times and it has a very comfortable first class section. I think that a failure to get the upgrade would be somewhat of a disaster and I only book it when I see lots of Vs around.

....and therefore, once I get onto a mainline flight, I often request a drink even before they are offered, to try to forget the CRJ-100/-200/-700 that I just came from.

The CR9's are not bad F for a RJ but I am more fond of the E75s (which also have three more F seats).

I have only flew the E75 once--from LGA to DCA; it was nice and the seats were comfortable, but I'm not sure how comfortable I would be after a 2 hour flight...

Status update:
As my friend was transferring between gates, he wanted to enter the Sky Club in SEA, however, when he went to open the door, it was locked--no notice that it was closed, no nothing. After about 5 minutes of trying to open the door, a SEA staff member informed him that the Sky Club was closed, but will re-open in a few hours for the NRT flight (which doesn't make sense because my friend told me that there were people in the gate area for the flight to NRT). But that is besides the point--he noted that the lights were off and that others were directed to the President's Lounge.
