Gotta love those MSP-ORD-OMA-DEN-SFO-BUR itineraries!
Thank god one airline still does ticketing a la managed chaos...

...without those types of itineraries, a 5,000 MR from DCA-MCO is impossible...

On the flight today, the F/A said:

[...] We know you have a choice in travel [..]
However, in my mind it was, "I only flew you because you go to the destination that I wanted to go to when I wanted to go to."

And to that, I'm going to get myself a nightcap...

I think some in this forum (not me) have taken advantage of loopholes that allowed connections in ANC or HNL.

I suppose today, I could just do an multi-city with arrival and departure times within hours of each other....

A quick turn yes, but those were priced as valid connections. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), I hadn't found FT yet.

I have a feeling that with all of the problems that the NW/DL merger is encountering, I would not be surprised if some crazy routing options show up.

That would be me.

For an Atlanta-Phoenix round-trip flight, I flew through Honolulu three times, Washington, D.C. twice and Los Angeles once.

If you do not believe me, ask rcs85551, whom I met in Honolulu, and Cholula.

I just checked flights to HNL from IAD and they had an option that connected in CDG and ICN via BKK. I'm still tempted on seeing if it is bookable or if it is just a false connection that will cause the reservation system to say:

There are no Delta / Delta codeshare flights between the cities specified
But, I do have to say that it would be fun to go to HNL via the other side of the world...

I also flew round-trip between Huntsville and Oakland via Anchorage once and Seattle twice.

Last November I booked a round-trip flight between Atlanta and San Diego...

...through London...

...twice.

With all due respect, you people are completely ding-a-ling!

The greatest itinerary possible is the one which has you spending the least amount of time in aluminum tubes. A 13 hour trip TLV-ATL in Biz Elite, with the best possible dinners, is hell. A 25 minute flight from Rosh Pina to Tel Aviv, in a prop plane with only water and crackers being offered is, in comparison, pure bliss.

Hello!! I remember being in PHX and seeing your itinerary on Delta. Just a little bit nutty. But I did see your itinerary with my own eyes. To think, that I was foolish enough to take the one hour Skywest Flt to PHX from LAX.

In the meantime, Canarsie was sitting in Y on his 598 hour itinerary, telling his seatmate about you:

By the time I get to Phoenix she'll be rising;
She'll find the note I left hangin' on her door.
She'll laugh when she reads the part that says I'm leavin'
'Cause I've left that girl so many times before.

Yes, indeed. After meeting Canarsie, my Glen Campbell fantasies completely disappeared. Canarsie sings that song with so much feeling.

Oklahado?

Is that where the waving potatoes smell so sweet when the wind comes right behind the rain?
