Is Gargoyle one of the Undead? Has anyone seen his reflection in a mirror?

Cholula has you beat. He is part of ancient Babylonian history.

(Which explains why he babbles so well.)

I'm right here to bump! But, I got bumped around by DL. I had been flying F

FCO-CDG-ATL on AF

connecting to ATL-MKE on DL.

I found out I was bumped onto the DL flt FCO-ATL without any notice. That was exciting. Thankfully, I was looking at my reservation for some other reason or I would have showed up at the wrong terminal.

tjisnumbaone, you are a very welcome addition to the Delta Forum Lounge. If there is any way I can help you, don't hesitate to ask.

In other words, think of me as your kindly old grandfather -- just as I think that way of Cholula.

That's one of the worlds great museums. They have a superb sculpture collection. Personally I'd be interested in studying their Canova Apollo and Psyche. Two reasons: to compare it with the version in the Louvre (his studio produced multiples of some popular pieces) and because I have a series of photos showing a full sized reproduction being carved in Italy in the late 70's, step by step from the rough quarry block to the final.

Must be Mrs. Cholula's friends, you don't know 40 non-FT'ers.

Yup, giving him a lot of thought. I want to create a few more of his ilk and style.

If you had come by you could have tried them out for size. Here are the dimensions of the two crates:
  1. 78" x 36" x 29" high
  2. 90" x 34" x 26" high
Do you think you could have fit in either one?

Cholula will be issuing you your bonus MQM's and lounge status. the FT computers update with that info on their Saturday night update sweep.

I think you would qualify as a great-grandfather. Not Great is the sense of good, great as second generation. (Somehow, I knew that I needed to qualify that.)

Just remember that there will be no slandering of the Mad Dogs here. Many of us love them and I know some, such as DLfan, who would do anything to have them back instead of the ASA purgatory they are in.

I feel a little sad that I've only taken one MD-88 flight so far this year out of my 44 flights since Jan. 1. I remember the good ol' days when DL had 7-8x MD-88s on GSO-ATL and 3x MD-88 on ATL-MHT; 4 segments on the ol' Mad Dogs, with ATL-MHT being a virtually guaranteed upgrade as a Silver and GSO-ATL being a pretty frequent one back then.

Now, you're lucky to get mainline on GSO-ATL (1-2 daily MD-88/737) and you have one CRJ-700 on ATL-MHT. How times have changed in 3-4 years.

I'm guessing you're a business traveler? 44 flights so far this year?

I'm jealous. One Mad Dog this year. For real? Next year for me will be most likely dominated by A320 since it replaced the Mad Dog on BOS-PBI. But I also might end up on the Mad Dogs from ATL-DFW mostly if family ends up moving to DFW

Not really a business traveller - the vast majority of my flights have been for leisure this year. Last year I would have made Platinum even without business travels included. Same will be the case this year (and it's quite possible I'll make the new 4th tier on leisure travel).
