Well I'm not stupid - when it's foggy or raining out I'd be driving with headlights on but when it's sunny and mid-day I don't think it's necessary to have them on. The lights could blind someone and cause them to crash. That happened to my grandpa a few years ago. He was fine but the car was totaled.

If there were headlights that could blind someone during the day (when the sun's out), those headlights would be illegal at night ... I make a conscious effort to turn on my headlights every time I get in the car, simply for visibility. Many businesses require that their employees do so for safety and insurance purposes.

If the headlights blinded your grandfather during the day, he's probably got some issues far bigger than you realize. I don't understand how that would be possible actually. I could understand at night but during the day, no.

The purpose as Dovster said, is to increase the visibility of your car to others, not to be able to see better. Sometimes people don't look as hard as they could/should when turning and the brighter light of an oncoming car's headlamps may stop them from going when they shouldn't.

Nope. If he fell asleep, he would've been dead. Besides, it was in the adirondacks, so the constant turns will keep you awake.

I forgot to mention - last night I tried FT chat again - there actually were some people online to my surprise. I'm going to try it again. Anybody that wants to join in should come!

We have driven to JAX on numerous occasions for the better fare and once to TPA when ATL was an ice cube and my flight to FRA was frozen in place
Yeah, I believe that so. It might to be cancellion the service for ATL-GNV due to poorly performance. They doesn't have one the jetways in GNV. Only where you can walk to the aircraft is on the ramp. I knows GNV are very expensive the higher price try to get there connection the flight out of ATL. I think I would likely to have to be reductions the reasonable fares. Eeither way where DL need to get cheapest price out of GNV is better time lot of the college students are going back home. It's importance for University of Florida who wants catch the flight in GNV instead of MCO.

So that's why you were trying to convince me to go to SYD! ;-)
