Isn't Spirit the outfit that charges extra for the "convenience" of booking on the Internet?

I haven't seen any hating from other posters to you. However, I have seen a bit of unwarranted judgement from you. First, on several occasions I have seen you respond with accusations of alcoholism when some here joke with each other about their favorite adult beverage. That isn't cool. We're just having fun, and that is a massive downer, especially to those of us who have had to deal with friends or family members who had that affliction. Joking about alcoholism is like joking about Hitler, it is almost never funny.

Second, you have just today, twice even, given unsolicited advice to a regular poster about his posting style (consolidating posts). That wasn't cool or cute either. This is supposed to be a fun place, a happy place, a place for friends. Act here like you would at a gathering with friends.

Like Canarsie, I think it is great that you have such an interest in travel at 15. You are welcome to post here anytime, and most, if not all of us will give you a little slack when you do make mistakes because you are young. If you make and effort, others will do the same in return.

This isn't for fun on RyanAir ....

Certain unnamed lounge hangers-on received their allowance in Confederate scrip or pieces of silver.

Plainfield has a wonderful cemetery. Mrs. Gargoyle is shown standing next to this memorial, which a carver from Joliet created around 1870.

Shame it won't be honored... $1799.99

In Taiwan, Dell erroneously priced a 19-inch LCD monitor for $15 and "is faced with either paying the fine (~30,000 USD) or going back to honor all the original orders at the erroneously lower prices."

I did - it was quite the topic of conversation at the office today. I think everyone on my team got a phone call from someone we knew asking if we could pull some strings and actually get that price honored...

Trust me, I'd have bought quite a few of them if it was legit - $9.99 is a lot cheaper than the employee price on that TV!

Boeing refers to that as the "dense configuration" (literally). I don't know if they are talking about passengers or management (although FR does make money).

I updated my Flickr site with some older photos today - rather than just give laughs to those in the (SkyTeam partner) Box, figured I would provide some humor to the Lounge as well.

The dates listed by Flickr for these photos aren't all accurate ...

I've expressed in the past that I'm a very loyal Mets fan. I was also in a pie-eating contest that day - AL versus NL.

I guess it's better than a certain team from Boston...

(I just happen to be a die-hard Yankees fan).

That's another one of my thoughts - do we have another chapter in As the Lounge Turns?

The date on that photo was actually correct (October 2007) - didn't meet Alysia until December 2008 or scoow until March 2009.
