Yep, it's kosher,

No issue with the Woodford Reserve,

now, the moose:

beef cattle, deer, sheep, and goats are all kosher animals. Antelope, giraffe, and moose are also kosher animals.

Vayikra (Leviticus) 11:1-8 HaShem said to Moses and Aaron, "Say to the Israelites: 'Of all the animals that live on land, these are the ones you may eat: You may eat any animal that has a split hoof completely divided and that chews the cud. "'There are some that only chew the cud or only have a split hoof, but you must not eat them.

IMO, Legal Seafoods is very 'ordinary' though, consistently good (I'm also guessing you might have visited one of the many outlets in other cities). I'd even argue that Kingfish Hall is probably a better venue to grab a great seafood dinner (and excellent rawbar).

more eats, some of my favorite suggestions :

Clio
L'Espalier
Miel
Via Matta

Also, lots of great eats in the North End if you like Italian.

Super cheap, hip place to grab a quick 'Asian' bite, Wagamama @ Faneuil Hall.

We also enjoy Todd English's Kingfish Hall @ Faneuil Hall (basically across the street from Wagamama)

Almost all of our 'dining out' is done in Boston. (we live approximately 40-45 minutes north of Boston, in Southern New Hampshire)

Where, over the years, almost everybody I know over the age of 25 who has any common sense and financial acumen chooses to live.

Also, the IC-Boston is very kind with regard to upgrades for Ambassadors, if NOT an Ambassador, do the upgrade @ the front desk (on your priceline stay) and score a minimum of a junior suite (regularly $550/night) and late check-out.

REALLY? Care to provide some details? I've got 3 1-night stays next month and prices are out of my budget @ the moment.

How's $109'ish a night @ the IC-Boston sound?

see here

and also see this post by me

If you are unfamiliar with Priceline and 'free' re-bids, there are a couple of caveats. Also some other 'inside knowledge' of the Boston bidding, if you desire. Don't rush things, and feel free to ask me questions.

In addition, the 'upgrade to Ambassador' @ the desk at the IC works like a charm. Heck, I even talked my way into an executive suite for a one-night stay last week.

For big cities such as DC, NY and London, I usually use Priceline. Works like a charm.

no state income tax
no sales tax
no requirement for car insurance
no requirement to wear a seat belt (over 18)
no helmets for motorcycle riders

but, they did pass a non-smoking law
and added a 'bizarre' take-out food tax

Seems that the Atlantic City and Las Vegas casino floors are the only place I can enjoy a Davidoff Robusto these days.

Heck, in Virginia where tobacco is king, there are non-smoking laws coming up more often. Aren't you glad that AC only implemented a partial smoking ban and that only lasted for a short period?

Yep, I'm very happy with the situation in AC.

25% of the gaming areas are smoking. Always high-limit and asian gaming is smoking. Big problem, is that only around 10% (or less) of the rooms are smoking. So, getting a smoking room (or suite) is a HUGH accomplishment. But, I can live with that. Though, I much prefer the "Vegas-method" @ Palazzo; "baccarat_king we don't have a non-smoking suite available" --- but, "no worries, we will send up 5 ashtrays!"

Just decided to book a little $95, 3-segment, 1528 MQM earning mileage run about 2 minutes ago

Gotta go to the airport now - flight leaves in about 90 minutes. (Gotta love having nothing to do on a Saturday afternoon).

Take a side trip from Philadelphia and treat Emily to a day at the Jersey shore.

Only 1,528 MQMs? Same day purchase and not a bonus earning fare? At least you used your DL AmEx and status to get three times RDMs, correct?

Oh of course, 3x RDMs coming my way. It's a T fare though - gotta love competition with AirTran on MSP-MKE, making such walk-ups possible. AA had a nice 4 segment (via STL both ways) MSP-ORD for this afternoon at $119, but I don't really need AA miles.

I'm not in desperate need of MQMs as well, as I'll requalify for Plat next month and won't be going for Diamond.

Plus, all I was going to do this afternoon was pack the apartment a little bit and watch the Yankees game. I can catch most of the game from the WC in MKE, and flying is just more fun then packing.

I still need to book my IC Hotels / XP flight combination coupon. And I still have no flying scheduled between now and ZRH. After ZRH, no flights scheduled until December 29 (second consecutive NYE in LAS).
