Here is some information that already has affected me regarding this thread, if you have not already experienced it:
Along with other FlyerTalk members, I have noticed sporadically in the past couple of months that I get a database error when attempting to access long threads such as the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/delta...y-welcome.html and http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/omni/...omni-game.html threads. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why this happens, as it appears to occur on a completely random basis and is not repeatable from my end. Usually, after one or more attempts, I eventually gain access to those threads.
In fact, I just encountered this problem again. This is the message that I get:

Could you please look into what could be the cause of this problem?
Thank you in advance.

Thanks for reporting this Canarsie.
As I understand it, this is a known, and as yet, unresolved issue. Luckily, as you noted, it only occurs intermittently, and the issue is relegated to exceptionally long threads. vBulletin handles these long threads better than our previous bb software (with UBB we had to manually segment long threads into multiple threads), but it obviously doesn't handle them well in every case.
I've passed your report along to the IB tech team as another data point.

Recently flew on the short bus looking 737-700 from SNA where it took off like a rocket. Kind of annoying that such a new aircraft isn't wi-fi equipped (but I understand since it does many Int'l turns).
The man next to me was older and heavier set and was not comfortable in the 1D seat at the F bulkhead. He was dressed in full suit and tie and refused to take off his jacket. Eventually he looked like he was becoming ill and got the attention of the FA. He said he was fine and the FA managed to find someone to switch seats with him (to non-bulkhead) and magically he was fine. FA told me she was glad that he was looking better (any worse and we would have probably diverted).

I noticed something new on my boarding passes today when flying home, (had to get BPs at the gate due to 1)equip change & 2)seat change), it now says "PREM" after my skymiles number, does that mean my new status cleared during my trip, or something else entirely?
Oh, and HELLO! I'm realtively new to Delta (and FT) myself!
