DL is usually pretty good at knowing where your suitcases are when they're in transit but the lost baggage dude said they weren't scanned in BGR or BOS so he doesn't know where the hell they are.
I seem to remember your luggage showing up late in VCE.....in the same water taxi as mine

Crc

Am I correct that there is no CRC at DTW or MSP? Yes I know other lounges can be accessed, but that is only after you BUY your membership, which because I am using a voucher I seem to have to do at a club (even though SMS said I could do at my local airport, the staff here tried for 2 hours to no avail to help me do that). What a cluster....just another joy of living in the middle of no where when it comes to airports.

I wouldn't take it personally. The whole thread was deleted due to the nature of the original post.

Not taking it personally, but thanks. Just felt it was an important warning and a little frustrated it got removed.

Yeah...good memory! Our bags got stuck in CDG for 24 hours.
I don't mind the dirty clothes showing up late AFTER the trip....like this one.
But 99% of the time my bags are lost at the beginning of a trip and that tends to really piss me off.

Happy New Year to you too! Just think, if you had been delayed much longer, we might have been on the same ATL/SNA flight....

Can I ask a stupid question? Why would anyone in their right mind go to BGR this time of year?

Never mind, I see who went now.

There is no CRC here at MSP. There is a DL ticket counter where you could blow a couple more hours.

Well, it's about time you showed up around here! I was asking another lounge-rat about you the other night. OK, 'fess up...were you in BGR too?

When we were stuck in BOS yesterday and it looked like we would definitely miss our ATL/SNA flight, I called SMS. Tried to get protected on another SNA/LAX/ONT flight but they told me EVERY Southern CA flight through Wednesday was booked solid. Not even a waitlist open.
I guess it was the holiday travelers along with the folks traveling to the National College Football Championship at the Rose Bowl.
We made our SNA flight with just minutes to go before they slammed the door and took off.

We flew to BGR. But we stayed at a beautiful home/mansion on the ocean in Bar Harbor. And ate lobsters, oysters, caviar, foie gras, quail eggs, scrod, steamed clams, mussels, fiddleheads, smoked scallops, finnan haddie and assorted other delicacies washed down by magnums of Dom Perignon.
And that was just the first day.

Geez just what I want to do (although I have to give a LOT of credit to the comair/DL TA's here tonight, they tried valiantly, with three phone calls going on it at one time). I seem to be screwed on trying to get this stupid thing (although the TA's did say using a voucher on line is coming shortly supposedly so that will help). It appears you cant use any of the "normal" ways of buying a CRC membership (on line, by mail, by phone) when you have this voucher, but you also cant take it to the airport or ticket office like they normally tell you to do with a voucher because CRC memberships can only be done right at the CRC, yet none of my airports seem to have one (most I use have NW clubs I will be using). I AM FRUSTERFIED.

I can almost hear Dov wretching at the very thought of this bounty from the sea! Not sure how he feels about the bird parts.

I had the same thing happen today. Got to the airport for my 7:30 a.m. flight from CAK and realized that I didn't have my drivers license. Seems my daughter took it with her when she used my credit card one day and forgot to give it back! While waiting to find out where it was, I tried to rebook on a later flight but everything was oversold. Finally figured it all out and because the flight was delayed anyway, she got the license to me in time. But I got to my ATL/SNA flight just as they were boarding and had no time to change my seats and didn't get the upgrade. Not even enough time to get a smoke before the flight!!! Everyone on the plane was going to the football game this week.
